STYLES & MOVEMENTS
These are the styles and artistic movements that, in my opinion, every designer should consider to create and transcend within their society. Each has its own essence and if we blend them well we will create an enduring design.
The design should always a functional and an aesthetic creation that reflects the taste of the time, not only ornaments, but also function. It is a visual creation process with a purpose, unlike the fine arts (painting, sculpture).
In surrealism art is conceived as a way to forget reality and find a way to enclose itself. This trend seeks inspiration into the very mind of the artist and rational thought is forgotten, because reality does not serve to highlight this new sense of art. The colors are mixed in a variety of ways, but the main thing is the detail of the drawings and the irrationally in that they are placed in the space, creating an undeniable visual beauty.
Keep our roots through design is the only way we can evolve and transcend as a society, is why ethnic design must always be present either so subtle or total immersion.
Eclecticism is a concept which refers to fusion stylistic features taken from different streams or teachers, even contrary.
